Suzanne Duryea
Suzanne Duryea is currently a Principal Economist in the Social Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank. Ms. Duryea holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan. In her position in the Social Sector Ms. Duryea has worked to strengthen the analytical underpinnings of the IDB's policy recommendations and programmatic interventions. Ms. Duryea's research focuses on human capital investments with a particular focus on children and youth. Ms. Duryea has represented the IDB in numerous international forums and has published in academic and policy-oriented journals. Her most recent work has examined the impact of economic shocks on children and families in the LAC region.
